Nothing really

Today is Thursday, which means tomorrow is Friday! Last night I basically did nothing. I went to practice after school. Then I went home and sat around for a while. At 7 I went to goodhue for religion class. Once that was over I came back home and did nothing again. It was kind of nice to have a day like this just cuz I'm usally so busy. Ya, so I pretty much sat around and watched T.V., played ps2, and talked on the internet. Tonight I am gonna go to practice and then sit around at home again I think. I actually will have some homework to do tonite tho which kind of sucks. 4 day till the end of semester, so I have some stuff to finish up but it shouldnt be too bad

Late Night

Last night we went to R-P for a basketball game. We didn't play very well and lost by about 15. Once again we were down by 17 at halftime. This is the third game in a row that we have been down by that many points at half. WE cut the lead down to 7 at one point, but that was as close as we got. But, hey, at least b-squad won. Then we got on the bus and rode another hour and a hlaf to get home. After I got home at midnight, I went straight to bed and ended up here, at school again. I am relaly tired tho! That was my boring day yesterday

Another Day at School

Today is Tuesday and I am really busy. Last night after practice, I went home and typed 3 reports. I did a report on To Kill a Mockingbird, a biology career, and on a famous composer. They were not too fun. I went to bed when I finally finished around 10:30. This morning I woke up, packed a lunch, and came to school. Tonight we have a basketball game at Rushford-Peterson. It kind of sucks because R-P is about an hour and a half drive. Hopefully we win tho so I'm not in too bad of a mood tomorrow. yeah.. umm... i have a history test on WWII today, It shouldn't be too hard tho.

Fun Weekend

On Saturday I woke up at 7:30 to go get my haircut. I hate getting my hair cut because it looks really wierd for a couple of weeks afterwards. Once I got home I did a few things and went on the internet. At noon I went over to Micah Dicke's house to meet up with about 15 people. We were all going to welch to go skiing and snowboarding. It took a while to get all the lift tickets and rentals, but once we got go nit was a load of fun. I was there from about 1 until 8 that night. This was my 3rd time snowboarding this year and I am starting to get pretty good at it. I only fell one time on saturday which I thought was pretty good. I really like it and I think I'm going to buy a board so I don't have to rent every time I go. I really want to learn how to jump good but I havent been able to work up enough courage to go off some of the bigger jumps. After we left from Welch, I brought Tim, Calvin, and Chad back to Goodhue. I got some food at the C-Store and went home. Sunday was not quite as fun as Saturday was. I woke up at 4:30 to go milk cows. That pretty much sucked. After I got home I took a nap until 10, then I woke up to go to church. I sat on the balcony with Craig and Casey. I went home after church and did some homework and watched basketball on t.v. Michigan st. vs. Wisconsin if you were wondering. I went and milked cows again, then I went to open gym at 7. I shot around for a while and talked. Then I decided to go home at around 8:30 because I was tired. I finished some of my homework and then went to bed. Now I am sitting here in CAD Lab writing in my blog. I am not going to have a fun night tonight as I have about 4 reports that I have to write. But yeah thats what I've been up to lately, thanks for reading!

Friday Night

Today is Monday. It is my first day back in school from a very fun weekend. It all got started on Friday night! We were playing Chatfield in basketball at home. The game didn't start off too well because we were down by 17 at halftime. But, during the second half we slowly chipped away at the lead. With about a minute left Josh Peterson hit a 3-pointer to give us our first lead of the game. We were up by two points with about ten seconds left. We fouled one of their best players and he made both of his freethrows to push the game into overtime. In the overtime, we played very well and once again were up by 2 with about ten seconds left. We fouled a different player this time and he missed both freethrows. We got the ball in bounds and won the game! I played pretty well in this game. I scored 7 points off the bench. After the exciting game, a bunch of people went to Casey's house to watch Wedding Crashers. It was a pretty good movie but it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.

Friday

Today is Friday!! YAY!! It has been a pretty busy week so far but it is finally coming to a close. Last night was pretty fun. After school I went to practice for an hour. It was really easy becuase there was a home wrestling match. So we only had the gym for an hour. Once practice was over, I went and watched the exciting wrestling match! It wasnt even close because we won by about 50. A bunch of my friends are on the wrestling team and they are pretty good. After wrestling was done, I went home and did a little homework, watched tv, and talked online. Then I got tired and went to bed around 11 or so. I rolled out of bed this morning to go to school really late at about 7:30. So I quickly did my morning routine and came to school. Now it is 10:08 and I am finally beginning to wake up. We have a basketball game tonight against Chatfield. They are pretty good so I dont know if we will win but you never know. They have a stud named Travis Larson. He is pretty good. He is really cocky though. I think I am going to wake up at about 4 tomorrow morning and go milk cows. I work on a dairy farm a few miles from our house. I milk cows every saturday and sunday night. I also milk on sunday mornings. Then I'm gonna go to bed when i get home. After a nice long nap, I am going to go snowboarding with a bunch of people at our local "mountain". Welch Ski Village. It isn't much, but it is pretty big for southern minnesota i'd say.

First Post

Hi! This is my blog for a class in school. A friend and I and here to talk about whatever. My name is Brett and my friends name is Travis. We live in the huge city of Goodhue, Minnesota. There are about 800 people in our town. Travis and I are both sophmores this year. We both play sports and our favorite sport is definitly football. This year we both started for the varsity football team and had a really good year. We started really slow and had a 1-5 start, but by the end of the year we really came around. We went to the state tournament and lost in the championship to the undefeated Springfeild Tigers. It was a really close game and could have went to either team. WE Are looking forward to our next few years on the team. Our sophomore class is very good and we will have a really good shot at winning two state championships in the next couple of years. Now football is over though, and we have started playing basketball. We are 3-4 right now and not playing very well. Travis and I both like music alot. I can listen to pretty much everything. I enjoy rock and punk mostly, a little bit of country too. Travis is more into the rock. He is a big fan of older bands like Led Zepplin and some of the rock legends. Travis plays guitar for his band (social casualties). And I play the drums for my band. My band is not too serious about our music, we just play every once in a while. One other interesting fact about us is that our dogs have the same name, Sandy. He stole it from me!
