Friday Night

Today is Monday. It is my first day back in school from a very fun weekend. It all got started on Friday night! We were playing Chatfield in basketball at home. The game didn't start off too well because we were down by 17 at halftime. But, during the second half we slowly chipped away at the lead. With about a minute left Josh Peterson hit a 3-pointer to give us our first lead of the game. We were up by two points with about ten seconds left. We fouled one of their best players and he made both of his freethrows to push the game into overtime. In the overtime, we played very well and once again were up by 2 with about ten seconds left. We fouled a different player this time and he missed both freethrows. We got the ball in bounds and won the game! I played pretty well in this game. I scored 7 points off the bench. After the exciting game, a bunch of people went to Casey's house to watch Wedding Crashers. It was a pretty good movie but it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.
